Tea Leaves and Thyme
have been dining here (at my friends' insistence) since 1998 because it is a novelty. i have never been satisfied with the quality of the food, the portions are miniscule and the variety unusual (curry chicken balls, yech). we always leave food uneaten and the desserts taste pre-packaged. the tea is average: tepid and weak and not much of a selection. never wore any of the hats displayed in the room, nor one of my own, although many do. the clintele is 'older' the red hat society age group. the tables are very close together and an intimate lunch is not possible. the service is not friendly. in the future, will try some of the other tea rooms in the area.
