Camellia's Sin Tea Parlor and Gift Shop
When my best friend was getting married I set up her bridal shower here. The food WAS excellent, but I found dealing with the staff to be very difficult. We were told that we would be the only ones there that day, which we had hoped for as there were quite a few of us. Instead it was opened up to whoever could walk in. Being that it's a business and needs to make money, understandable. It was just the first in a string of bad or no communication, though. We were also told we could take as long as we liked, but we'd been there for a bit more than an hour and the owner came out asking if she could cut the cake up to send home with us. I was very surprised, as I assumed no time limit meant no time limit, and she hadn't come to me to say she was hoping to close up. We were rushed through a great many of our courses and when it was done I felt like we were pushed out the door. AT one point someone walked through the middle of our party to take a photo off the wall that was apparently for sale, but never said excuse me. We had to finish at the bride's house, which was far too small to accomodate all of us. The entire time it felt as if they were doing us a favor and we were inconveniencing them for being there after giving them several hundred dollars for the space. I won't ever return there because of how we treated. I'm glad others have had a better time, it looked promising before this event occured.
