The Dusty Rose Tea Room
My niece and I visited the Dusty Rose Tea Room in Georgetown, Colorado, to celebrate her 14th birthday and experience what her great-grandparents had experienced in England for high tea at the palace. We were truly delighted! The choreographed tea was a wonderful journey through history, authentic delicacies both savory and sweet, a cozied pot of tea each-not just a cup, a well-told informative and entertaining story by the hostess, a sweet and charming little waitress dressed in Victorian clothing, all in two hours in a beautiful Victorian setting in this lovely little town and for about 1/4th the price of other high tea offerings in the U.S. and British Canada with a more complete experience! I will bring more of my out-of-town guests to our home in Golden, as the whole event at the Dusty Rose only 35 miles up the road just cant be beat!
