Victorian Grace
My family threw a bridal shower for me at the Victorian Grace Tearoom. It was the most wonderful shower a girl could have! One could get lost in the decor. We decided to all wear Victorian hats for the tea party and the owners of the tearoom even let us borrow some of their authentic Victorian hats for the event. The chicken and wild rice soup was delicious and I really liked the spinach and artichoke mini quiches. But the scones were to die for. I'm used to scones usually being dry and hard but these were so moist. Their most gracious pastry chef came out to greet me and told me that she made these unique pink petit fours especially for my shower. This made me feel quite special. The warm tea kept coming and not once did we have to serve our own tea. Such personal service! My girlfriends and the ladies in my family had a wonderful time. I will definitely be coming back. My maid of honor even bought me a beautiful teacup and saucer from the tearoom so that I would have something to remember this wonderful bridal shower/tea party.
