Gourmet Briar Patch Tea Room
On the spur of the moment today, I decided to visit Ron and Ginger at the Gourmet Briar Patch Tea Room and to have lunch. As many times as I have enjoyed their mid-day tea lunch over the years, Ginger always seems to come up with something new, different and delicious. I am never disappointed in her food selections and culinary skills. Along with the mid-day lunch plate, I had the pumpkin spice tea which was wonderful and very appropriate for a cool fall day like today. For a sweet ending, the three layer tipsy custard cake was scrumptious! I’m already looking forward to my next lunch date when I will bring my friend from Newport News to have lunch here at the tea room.
