This is a delightful tearoom. The food is delicious and the service is stellar. I am fortunate to live in the area, so I am a frequent visitor. And even better, the tearoom is adjacent to their antique store.

My husband and a male and female cousin visited this tearoom last Saturday. I had visited once before, but they had not. The staff was so friendly and gracious that we all were impressed. My cousin had the Shepherd's Pie while the rest of us had the full afternoon tea. The food was excellent and sufficient to appease our hunger. The true highlight of our experience was meeting and talking sports and of course tea with the owner Al. All of my guests were very impressed! We live in Virginia, but we will definitely visit again soon.

    Tearoom response:

Sharon, It was really nice chatting with you and your group. That is what I find fascinating about owning a tea room. There are so many interesting customers from all over the world with lots of knowledge to share. You are very fortunate that will drive you all over the country visiting tea rooms, but you are having fun making memories. I hope to see you again soon!

Thanks again to your cousin for choosing us for lunch.

My husband and I enjoyed an afternoon tea at this lovely tearoom last Saturday. The staff greeted us warmly and promptly seated us. Even though they were busy with a large party upstairs we never felt neglected. Our server was always nearby checking to see if we needed anything. The tea was of good quality and a new choice was offered each time we finished our pots. And then there was the food... Everything was delicious and plentiful. The quiche is made on site and could not have been better. I visit tearooms all over the country and who would have thought that such a gem was almost in my own back yard. I can't wait to go back!
