Promont House Museum
Beyond wonderful setting, service, presentation, food and hospitality - what a jewel! Afternoon Tea at Promont House is everything I love about a tearoom - from the drive up the hill to the stately home, the welcome at the door, a beautifully set table, delicious tea, savories, scones and sweets, attentive service, tasteful gift shop - and then they add the docent tour of the home and its history! I'm making a list of all the other friends I want to take there who will love it too so that I have lots of excuses to go back as soon and as often as possible. P.S. My group of six friends were looking for a place to have tea and discovered Promont House takes smaller groups on days when the 'group size of 10 or more' criteria has already been met - so call them, be flexible and you won't be disappointed!
