The English Rose Tea Room and Gifts
I must say, in going to The English Rose I have never been treated so well. The English Rose is a small little tea room in downtown Pleasanton, and believe me, it’s a jewel to Pleasanton. When you walk in you are greeted with a friendly hello, and smile. Now I have been to The English Rose three times now (soon to be four because my daughters are taking me there for mothers day; to say the least I am very excited), and I have never had to wait for a seat, and all three times I was a ‘walk-in’. You are pampered while your there, first with lavender scented hand towels all the way to the end with I believe is called ‘white tea’ hand lotion, which smelled truly amazing( I’m trying to find the lotion in stores, no luck though). There are so many teas to choose from. There house tea, The English Rose Blend is truly delectable. The first time I went I truly felt like I was in England even down to my waiter who had an English accent, She was a doll and knew all the questions I asked. All and all The English Rose is a treat to yourself and others. Each time I go a new memory is made. The English Rose brings proof to the saying of ‘Big Things Come In Small Packages’, it’s a small little place yet it has a big place in my heart, and the heart of others.
