The Royal Tea Room & Restaurant
WOW! My visit to the Royal Tea Room was worth the drive from Pasadena, MD. The atmosphere was charming and the music playing was an added delight. Our server Dana gave us the 'ROYAL TREATMENT'. She was very helpful, suggesting we try the cream of crab soup (to die for) and raspberry iced tea(delicious). Everything was scrumptious... the salad, warm scones, finger sandwiches, coconut shrimp and the variety of flavorful sweets. It was truly a wonderful TEA experience. We shall return. Oh! I must mention we did meet Dee, the owner. She could not have been any sweeter. Lastly, we enjoyed browsing the tea room gift shop as well as the antique rooms located on the second level.
