The English Rose Tea Room and Gifts
Lisa and staff always provide an experience of thoughtfulness, kindness, attention to detail, beauty, variety of delicious foods and teas, and the feeling that you are a special person and deserve special care. Carol is such a sweet waitress. She greets you as if you are her very best friend and instantly creates fun and tlc. I love all the little perks...warm, scented washcloths at the start of the service, lovely lotion at the end. Complimentary tastings of highlighted teas. A yummy sugar cookie waiting on your tea saucer to hold you over until your tied-tray of beautifully arranged, flower adorned sweet and savories arrive. The food is amazing, expertly prepared by chef Barbara who is so creative at blending tastes and preparing interesting menus. Everything is always fresh and delicious. Fantastic variety of teas available. The setting is so pretty, inside the shop and outside in the garden. I've enjoyed many special events at the English Rose, many happy memories. The most recent was to celebrate a dear friend's birthday. She was so surprised when Carol came with a darling birthday surprise..a personalized mini birthday cake with candle and a hand-written message spelled out in frosting on her plate. It was so sweet! What a blessing. I highly recommend you visit the English Rose and enjoy this special place and people.
