We were very lucky to have been taken for High Tea on 26th November 2014 and we were treated to a wonderful experience and tea. We were greeted by Darlene who was so friendly and welcoming. Her home is decorated through-out with wonderful interesting things collected from across the United Kingdom and other parts of the world. Darlene invited us to her table, wonderfully decorated and we started our High Tea. Delicious Butternut squash with home-made Friendship breads, two types, Lemon and Butterscotch friendship breads which we had never had before, quite delicious. Then on to individual warmed bacon, Swiss cheese quiche, yum, yum. Then on to home made salted caramel scones with clotted cream, outstanding. A mixture of 3 kinds of sandwiches and then a selection of cakes. Wow, we had so much to eat and quite lovely. We enjoyed home made peach iced tea and a huge variety of hot teas with so many flavours to suit your taste to match the different courses we enjoyed. We live in the Cotswolds, are lucky enough to enjoy English teas at home, but we have to say, Darlene's Victorian Tea's is quite a treat, delicious, great fun and we highly recommend to everyone to go, try and enjoy the whole experience, it's wonderful. With many thanks to Darlene for looking after us so well. Sir Christopher Codrington, Bt.
