We had a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon having tea and a tour of Promont House Museum. The Ginger Peach tea was delicious and the various sandwiches (chicken salad on cinnamon swirl bread, grilled pineapple with cheddar filling and bacon topping, cucumber tomato basil on white bread), scones (cranberry orange white chocolate, strawberry bread with Devon cream), sweets (mini brownie, lemon curd tarts, Mexican cookie), and fruit kabob were equally delicious. The hosts were friendly and we enjoyed learning about the history of Promont House. I highly recommend this tea event. We may come back for the Christmas holiday season to enjoy another tea and the decorated house.
