Captain's Cottage
Several ladies from our tea society had the pleasure of having tea at the Captain's Cottage Teahouse on July 16,2011, and it was wonderful. The owner is absolutely delightful and made our tea time so much fun! We tried several teas that included Russian Caravan, Buckingham Palace Garden Party, Vanilla, and Monk's Blend. They were all very good. The tea sandwiches and savories were tasty and the scones delicious. We look forward to visiting Captain's Cottage again in the near future.

Linde Lane Tearoom
We had the pleasure of having tea at Linde Lane on Saturday, November 20th, and it was wonderful. The tearoom is beautiful! There were 13 of us and we were just amazed that it use to be an old firehouse. They offer an excellent selection of teas and the sorbet with shortbread is such a special touch. The staff was friendly and gave excellent service. It was really busy that day, but the time was taken to tell us the history of the firehouse and planning of the tearoom. One of our Tea sisters purchased a beautiful hat. Not only do they have unusual and lovely hats for sale, but a variety of wonderful items to purchase and enjoy. We will definitely visit this tearoom again.

tea list
We had a small business meeting there on October 8, 2010 and it was our first visit. It is a small tea room, but very cute and there is additional seating outside. The customer service was excellent and the food was very good and fresh. They served traditional tea sandwiches such as cucumber/mint, chicken salad, and a turkey/cheese combination. They offer a nice variety of black, green, rooibos, and white teas. We tried an Organic Lemongrass Black tea, a Jasmine Green tea, Genmaicha, and a Vanilla Bourbon Street Rooibos tea. We enjoyed all of them. Overall, we had a wonderful time and will definitely visit again.

August Tea Room
We spent a wonderful afternoon at the August Tea Room on August 21, 2010. Beautiful china and tea accessories are displayed throughout the gift shop and tea room. The food was delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. Our hot teas were Pomegranate Rose Hip & Chocolate Mate as well as a Strawberry Iced tea. All were very good. Lety and her staff are warm and inviting and we look forward to having tea at her establishment in the near future. Tea Sisters Society 8/22/10
