Our Tea Club has frequented Tea on the Tiber for many years. It was unparalleled. We would go for every season for our meetings. Our Fall visit was lovely, the Winter visit was delightful, Spring was lacking and our visit two weekends ago for Summer did not reflect the tearoom we so fondly favored. We made mention of this to the proprietor. The breads were either too wet or too dry, food was not fresh, the scones were burned on the bottom, we were not welcomed warmly and the service is no longer attentive and inviting. We were bewildered. We ladies agreed we will not return. The Art of Tea is no longer being served. It has lost its charm.
