The Milk Pail
My 10 year old daughter and I visited for the first time today and I'm so glad we did. The atmosphere was formal and very inviting. Our waiter was very prompt and polite and checked on us frequently. We each ordered the same thing, the veggie croissiant, which came with chips and soup. Well my daughter and I are vegetarian and there was no vegetarian option on the soup menu, do I told waiter that we did not want soup. He asked if I was sure and I told him why. He came a moment later and said he told the owner why we declined the soup and said that he offerrd to give us spinach baguettes in place of the soup. I thought that was so nice, and they were very delicious! We ordered peach iced tea and it was so cold and refreshing. And to top off our excellent meal, my daughter had the chocolatr cake, which I tasted and it was delicious! And I had the lemon bar. I LOVE lemon bars, and this was the best I've ever had! It was served very warm and it was divine! It was not a cheap meal, but I believe in you get what you pay for, and it was totally worth it. We will definitely be returning! Soon!
