The Pegg House Tea Room
Visited first time back in April on a Satureday at lunchtime with my sister and my almost 6 month old infant. The atmosphere is wholesome, clean, home-y with a feminine touch (lace curtains and such), and Southern. The food can be described that way also. Enjoyed an iced peach tea, a fresh salad and some fabulous peach pie. I found the service attentive without being stifling so as to allow plenty of conversation between my sister and myself. Also, they were child-friendly which is a plus for me. While the Pegg House isn't 'the fanciest', it is elegant enough for a special treat. I will return for more!
