Olivia's Tea Room
I wanted to surprise my good friend for her 60th birthday by taking her to a Tea. (She's never been to one.) Olivia's had all the elements I had hoped for. The tea was piping hot, served in matching pots with a tea cozy and the pot left on the table for us to enjoy. We had three different teas, which were all amazing! The tea leaves were brewed in the pot and not tea bags served to us. I was hoping for it to be that way. Alice was just a delight. We thoroughly enjoyed the scones, sandwiches with cute cut-outs in the bread (and no onions in the chicken salad!) and desserts. There was a young family sharing in tradition with once again coming to Olivia's for a birthday party of one of the children. What fun! A pretty candle came out on the dessert for their daughter and one for my friend. Everything had a very personal touch and delicious fresh ingredients. Alice shared her recipe with us for the cream she makes that goes with the scones. It was out of this world! We had a wonderful time. Thank you, Alice for Olivia's Tea Room. You get an A++!
