D's Victorian Teas
We were well pleased with the high tea served to our group of 8 ladies at D's Victorian Teas on Monday, April 3, 2017. We were warmly greeted by our hostess and we soon realized that we were welcome guests in her home - not just customers. As guests we also were aware of our responsibility of etiquette and manners expected, and well deserved. to our hostess. There was a wide variety of tea available for our enjoyment and the food was delicious! Our hostess explained each course and served us on a beautifully set table in an elegant manner in a seasonally (spring and Easter) decorated room. Our high tea began with a course of soup and two different kinds of home made bread. We were also served scones with clotted cream and jam, individual quiches, and fresh fruit. Each lady was provided with 3 different kinds of finger sandwiches and 3 different individual desserts. The attention to detail - including the home made crust and filling of each individual quiche - was noted and much appreciated. Please give yourself the gift of this wonderful experience as soon and as often as possible.
