High Tea Cottage
A cozy and casual place to have afternoon tea. They have a good variety of tea sets with the cutest spoons. Fresh flowers on the table are also a nice touch. This is the only place, that I know of, that allows you to smell their fairly large tea selection to help you make a choice. They also have a very good tea sandwhich selection. And out of various tea rooms in Los Angeles, I like their scones the best. Desserts also vary and are quite good. I've recently been coming here every month now as part of my "me time" ritual and have enjoyed every visit. Last but not least, they have one of the best employees: Holly. If you come on a day that she is working, you'll be greeted warmly and served efficiently.
