MacNab's Tea Room
I'm not sure there are enough positive adjectives to properly describe the unique and enjoyable time I have alsways had at McNabs, but let me try: interesting, delicious, unique, educational, pampering, endless variety, visually stimulating, wonderful aromas, hilarious women owners...McNabs is a MUST for anyone who loves tea...and scones...and lemon curd...and savory food...and sweet food..and FUN!

The Tea Room at McLaughlin Gardens
Sadly, The Tea Room at McLaughlin Gardens is lacking in everything that a tea room should have. On the day that I and three friends visited (two from out of state whom I had convinced that visiting a Maine tea room would add tremendously to their summer vacation), there was no tea except iced, soup for only three of us, and not much else. I felt embarrased for the waiter who told us--and others who came in after us--'Sorry, we're out of...' Needless to say, we left hungry and unsatisfied.
