I have participated in tea at this particular tea room monthly since its opening June 2008. Each month the menu changes and the new offerings are a wonderful blend of traditional and innovatively modern. Recently a salad with homemade dressing was added for those who are more health conscious, as well as a 'tea to go' - hot or cold lunch (quiche or salad, with fruit and hot or cold tea) for those on the run or unable to leave the office. The tearoom offers a wide selection of loose, fresh brewed teas. When I asked for a variety not on their menu, the owners ordered some for the shop - service above and beyond expectation. Their other teas, including the Buccaneer (a chocolate-coconut) and a special blend named for the owners mother (an unusual blend of Earl Gray and lavender!) are worth trying. The scones are some of the best out of any tearoom I've visited - one both sides of the Atlantic - especially the chocolate/cherry and lemon/basil/asiago cheese. The owners are charming - the right mix between formal and fun loving/friendly and the decor charming. Be sure to check out the bathroom - a wonder of Victorian shoes and a to-die-for wreath over the sink. All in all, a wonderful, relaxing place to partake in the finer side of afternoon tea.

    Tearoom response:

Kari, we value your comments. Thank you so much for your support. Our door is always open to you. Robyn and Lisa

Quite thankfully, this tearoom has CLOSED. Every time I visited here, the service was terrible - unfriendly owner and crabby wait staff. I wouldn't of called it a tearoom at all - it was more a deli where you could watch your food be MICROWAVED before being served. Yick! Hopefully a more realistic tearoom with quality service will replace this shop.
