Linde Lane Tearoom
My 7 year-old son, Scotlan, my Mom and I had tea today at Linde Lane Tea Room. We loved it! Scotlan, with his debonaire hat and nice clothes was a hit among the ladies there, as well as the customers. One of the owners was even having her own tea party and bought some whip cream for her daughter, but shared it with Scotlan. He ordered the Chocolate Chia tea, and she made it special for him with whip cream. He said he loved it and wants to go back to sit at the tea cup table. The food was delicious and the tea was divine. The ambiance was exquisitely done. I love the attention to detail in the shadow boxes. I love that it's spacious enough where you can walk around and not feel like you're going to knock something over. I love that they pay homage to the old firehouse building, by labling the tea pots with mini fire hydrants. Not only does it help you to remember your tea flavor, it helps remember all the men and women who worked to save lives and buildings in Dixon. If you don't ask, you wouldn't know the history, and it might not make sense. But, if you are aware of the surroundings, and ask a few questions, you understand. Maybe Raychelle in Vacaville ought to try taking in a little history lesson. Or stay in Benicia. Who needs you here anyway! Thank you, Linde Lane! You made a nice day into a terrific memory for all of us. We will return as soon as we can!
Tearoom response:
Scotlan was the perfect little gentleman and we welcome him anytime! Thank you so much for your kind words about our tearoom and it's rich fire station history. Please make sure you bring Scotlan back next time you come to visit!
