Tea On The Tiber
My friend Connie made our reservation. I was with a large party of ladies a few Saturdays ago. My second time at this tea room was disappointing, just like my first. I believe that this place is number four out of MD because the good local tea rooms were forced to close their doors due to the economy. If you're really interested in the art of tea and real cuisine (not prepackaged foods), don't go here. One of the past waitstaff told me they keep their sandwiches in Tupperware containers for days. Nothing is baked on premises. Even the scones are frozen. Stay home and grab some recipes for a real English tea. You'll enjoy the preparation, and will save money to boot.

We are sad that you were disapointed with your experience. We strive to provide an authentic and enjoyable Afternoon Tea to our patrons and I feel that we achieve that with the vast majority of our customers.
I would like to point out that your facts are incorrect. We prepare our foods fresh daily and our scones are also baked in our kitchen daily. We endeavor to provide the best and freshest ingredients for our savories and scones.
We have been consistently ranked in the top 5% of tearooms in Maryland since we opened years ago. I believe we have proven we are an excellent tearoom.
If you were unhappy with your time with us I wish you would have expressed it to either the manager or owner at the time instead of airing incorrect information in a public forum.
