Sweet Afton Tea Room and Restaurant
A MUST! The tea room is a great combination of delicious homemade food, specialty teas, friendly staff, and a relaxing ambiance that makes the time there a place for great conversation and memories. It is a weekly tradition in our household and has been a wonderful place to bring friends, family, and children. The owners, Phyllis and Al deliver unique care to their customers, greeting them by name, chatting at your table, and entertaining children with the 'Al's magic coloring book.' I hosted a baby shower for my girlfriend and it was delightful. Our guests were wowed by the charming atmosphere and delicious food. It was also very reasonable. The Afton team's service made sure we could focus on the honoree and we did. See the pics I posted. I read some of the reviews regarding portions. We go weekly to the tea room and never leave hungry. We start with soup, tea, an entree and are treated to a delicious dessert to finalize things. The wellington is my favorite and I never tire of it. Our tea pot is refilled constantly (or offered) and with the instrumental music in the background, we feel serenity when there. If you are looking for a reasonable meal, amazing tea, and a charming experience, with service that will delight...visit Sweet Afton's. I promise you will be back and bringing others with you!! It is the gem of Plymouth, Michigan.
