Once Again Ron and Ginger went above and beyond to provide excellent tea, food, and service at the First Christian Church Women's Christmas Celebration Dinner. Everything was delicious and Ron served my favorite tea!!! We loved the pumpkin cheesecake and would love to have the recipe!! Can't wait for Christmas break so I can visit my favorite tea room again!!!
Glad you enjoyed your tea. Happy to share:<BR> Irish Tea Bread <BR> 2 1/2 cups of currants, or golden raisins. 1 c dark brown sugar, and 1 c of strong tea ( I use the Rongit). Soak these 3 overnight. Add until mixed 2 cups of flour, 1 tsp b soda, 3 tsp of baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1 beaten egg (large). Pour into a well greased loaf pan or 4 mini pans. Bake at 350 for 30 min and check for doneness. Size of pans dictates this. Should take no more than 1 1/2 hours. If pans dark, reduce heat 25 degrees. Pots of Blessings
