Tea on the Mountain
I took my mom and a friend here for lunch. The atmosphere is charming, elegant and just wonderfully relaxing. Music was a selection of equally relaxing piano solos. The food was superb; the Scotch eggs were the best I've ever had and the Neptune salad was fresh and delicious. Myrna's tomato soup was great as were her desserts: homemade flan, almond cake with clotted cream and a light luscious lemon sponge cake with lemon curd (all homemade!). If you are in the vicinity, you shouldn't miss this lovely place. Happily, it's right in our backyard and we will come back often! I give it 5 stars enthusiastically!
