Silver Tips Tea Room
The variety of tea was impressive but that's about all that impressed us. The sandwiches were not very good or fresh. Dessert was not anything to write home about and again below average. The worst part of the experience was the bad scones. They were the worst scones we've ever tasted. How can one serve bad scones for afternoon tea and survived so long? Perhaps it was a bad batch or people only went for the impressive tea list. I was expecting a cutter setting and was a bit disappointed with the plain tea pots and tea cups. The service was cold and slow. I wish there was something plesant about this place so I wouldn't feel like a fool dragging a friend to this place.

It seems we didn't satisfy you in any area whatsoever and I apologize if you felt our service was cold and slow. Perhaps our style of food, desserts and settings are not to your taste but I can guarantee that our food is fresh. Our scones get rave reviews and as recently as yesterday, one of our customers ordered them to be sent by air to Seattle! We survey our customers often and have not received any feedback similar to your review. Still, our aim is to make every visit a treat and I see we missed the mark with you.
