i love this place. i love everything about it. its an asian tearoom. i absolutely love jay who owns the place. they serve sushi that is quite literally the best in st louis. make sure you get the miso soup. its outstanding.
the food is incredible, the sisters who run the place couldnt be more adorable. my grandma took me on a date to this place because she had lunched there with her lady friends before (she's eighty and adorable as well) my complaint is that they serve bagged, low quality tea. and while its served in a pot, not a lot of love goes into it. which shocked me as the rest of my experience there was so wonderful.
i agree that it is the starbucks of tea, however i will say, that the staff is less knowledgeable about the specific teas they carry than typical starbucks employees are about their coffee. i find this place to be an all around bummer. highly overpriced beehouse accessories, boring tea, and unhelpful employees. i wouldnt bother unless you're running late to work in the morning and prefer pre made tea to teabags.
