Tea On The Tiber
I was thrilled with this tearoom. The tea selection was extensive and the food was divine. My favorite part was the savories (tea sandwiches). They were not only delicious but they were more than just the little bites that I have gotten elsewhere. The scones that day were a butter pecan and they were served with a plum preserve & REAL clotted cream that they import from England. Our server was busy but made us feel like we were her only priority. I also got to try 2 flavors of tea since I couldn't decide which one I wanted so the waitress brought me both! This tearoom is definitely worth a second (or third) visit. Thanks for giving me & my guests a memorable afternoon.

Serenity Tearoom & Fine Dining
After reading the other reviews of this tearoom I was anticipating a wonderful experience. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. We were not seated promptly; although we had reservations. We then waited AN HOUR for our tea to arrive to our table and ANOTHER 45 minutes for our food to arrive. We were getting ready to get up & leave! The owner was very nice & apologized for the delay, but I was not interested in hearing her problems keeping staff. I sympathize with her but I was there to enjoy a relaxing afternoon tea and instead I ended up frastrated & disappointed. I hope they resolve the issues the face but it may be a long time before I return.

We greatly appreciate all comments, favorable and/or unfavorable, as they help us continuously improve our products and services. We would like to make a few comments regarding this review. We acknowledge that the wait time for tea and food may vary, especially if your seating time coincides with a large group seating. Our seating times allow 1.5 hours for the entire Traditional Afternoon Tea experience. We receive your comments and again we acknowledge that at times there are undesirable delays in seatings/services, however, we disagree with the lengthy delay times that you have stated. We strive to seat and serve our guests promptly with freshly made food and tea. We provide services based on arrival time and seating order. We regret that your experience at Serenity Tearoom was unpleasant and that you left disappointed. Thanks again for your comments and review! God Bless!
