Spent a lovely afternoon at this Alice in Wonderland down the rabbit hole teashop/bakery. Excellent chocolate/chocolate chip scones, delicious sandwiches and handmade desserts made for a very substantial meal. Republic of Tea teabags offered with a never ending pot of hot water. Loved the owner who could not be nicer!

I have not spent as warm and welcoming an afternoon in quite awhile as I did at this lovely tearoom. Kathy started off our experience with a warm, lemon hand towelette and the next 2 hours flew. Seven courses of the most delicious, homemade, delectable courses followed, each presented in a loving and creative way. I look forward to enjoying another relaxing afternoon at this jewel in Jamesburg. Pinkies Up! Joan, Helen and Debbie

    Tearoom response:

Beautifully appointed furnishings, a most gracious hostess and delicious food makes this a must return to tearoom. The scones were some of the best we've had and the chance to relax, unhurried, over a cup of tea is priceless!

Treat yourself to a wonderful afternoon of the best scones, sandwiches and sweets that can be made. Theresa, the chef, stands alone in the scone department and everyone makes you feel as if you have entered their home. The welcome is just as warm as their food is delicious.

Had a lovely afternoon tea amidst beautiful teal blue walls and wonderful artwork. Tea was brewed perfectly and we had a choice of 4 different scones. Soup, sandwiches and desserts were not only delicious but fresh and pleasingly presented. Can't wait to bring our tea group here!

Spent a lovely afternoon with 10 ladies enjoying the most delicious scones, freshest sandwiches and most sinfully delicious desserts in a most welcoming atmosphere. The servers refilled our teapots with hot water without being asked and the tea menu offered so many choices it was hard to stick to one! This is a certain 'hit' among many hit and misses.

  • White Rabbit Tea Company

Treat yourself to a lovely afternoon of tea and delicious delights at the White Rabbit. Snuggled into historic Woodstown, Ted and Lillian have created a relaxing, homey sanctuary in a shoppe filled with goodies to 'ooh' and 'aah' over as well as a tea list sure to please every taste. Chef Ted has the kitchen down pat and his scones(cranberry/nut today), clotted cream, sweets and sandwiches are not only delicious but presented with flair. Lillian is not too busy to stop and answer questions and share the history of the shoppe which has been decorated with wonderful whimsy. My friend and I shared a memorable afternoon with Ted and Lillian and enjoyed the experience so much that we will be bringing a group for a private tea in the future. Do yourself a favor...hop on in to the White Rabbit...your first trip will not be your last!

Give yourself (or someone else) the gift of a relaxing, wonderful afternoon in this cozy tearoom. Linda and Lisa greet each patron warmly and you truly feel that you are special. An extensive tea menu gives you an opportunity to try something new and the food...the best chicken salad (their signature dish), fresh scones with homemade jam and a myriad of desserts leave you breathless and wanting more all at the same time. This sweet tearoom is a treasure in Monmouth County that should be enjoyed. I certainly will be returing.
