Aylesbury Tea Room
This is a 'real' English teashop. Small, unpretentious, cheerful and welcoming atmosphere. A limited selection of tea but they know how to prepare a good pot of tea. Something other teashops should concentrate on instead of offering a long list of teas that have been badly stored and even worse incorrectly prepared! The food is fresh, simply prepared but delicious especially the scones. The service was friendly efficient but not intrusive. My friend and I had not seen each other for a long time and had lots of catching up to do. Not once were we made to feel rushed. I would definitely return to the Aylesbury Tea Room and would highly recommend fellow British ex-pats to visit. You'll feel like you were back-home.
