I visited Elise's on a Sunday, it was not that busy just me and a couple of ladies at another table. The service was excellent and quick. The scone was very good (Chocolate chip) the tea was also good chocolate mint. The sanwiches were ok, the bread was on the dry side and I wasn't told what they were. The egg was obvious and so was the cucumber, but I got another that was either tuna or salmon or maybe even chicken. That was the mystery sandwich. the place is beautifully feminine and romantically dressed

    Tearoom response:

I am very sorry to hear that you were uncertain of the sandwiches offered at Elise's Tea Room. However, we clearly list all the sandwiches on our menu. If you need help finding them on the menu we will be glad to show you. Otherwise, feel free to ask what they are and we will be happy to tell you. Also, if there is something you do not care for, we will be glad to change it in order to accommodate your needs.

  • Past Tyme Tea Parlour

I had been trying to get in here to try their tea but they were always busy or booked so on a Wens I just stopped by, without a reservation and Stella the owner took me in and sat me at a beautifully set table. It was very relaxing. She said she usually doesn't like taking walk- ins because she doesn't like to make guests wait for 20 min for the scones to bake. But I didn't mind, and it wasn't like I was sitting there with nothing on the table. I got my tea and the fruit plate rather quickly. The fruit plate was very appealing. I was able to try a different tea when my pot became empty. They do use tea bags as opposed to loose leaf tea, which I guess makes it easier to try different flavors of tea. Stella was wonderful, we chatted for a long while and made me feel very comfortable,I am glad I went when she wasn't too busy. The scones were huge and savory. I was full on a fruit plate and the scone. The dev. cream was fab too!!!
