Cozy's Tea Room
Knowing the Cozy as a country-style family restaurant, we were not sure what our tea experience would be life. We were very pleasantly suprised. The tearoom is set apart from the rest of the restaurant, and decorated in a kind of vintage cottage style - a comfortable elegance. The selection of Harney & Sons teas included herbal, green and black teas. Full tea started with a small salad, followed by berry scones right out of the oven and clotted cream - they were light and delicious. Sparkling pear juice was served in champagne flutes to cleans the palate. The tiered server included lovely savories - light on the bread - including crab puffs, a ham and cream cheese roll, fruit & cheese, and tiny lemon meringue pies, cheesecakes and petite-fores. The tea was finished with a berry trifle. The food was delicious, presentation was lovely and we had excellent, attentive service. It was a bit of a drive from Montgomery County, but the combination of the beautiful ride through the country and the lovely tea proved to be a delightful respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I am definately going to return.

Serenity Tearoom & Fine Dining
It was a wonderful suprise to find this tea room as quaint a place to visit as Historic Frederick. The owners were very gracious, the room was cozy, and very nicely appointed. There was plenty to eat and a lovely variety of tea sandwiches and pastries. We will definately be back.
