  • Tea Cozy

Go to The Tea Cozy only IF you're looking for a wide range of teas, yummy scones with the REAL cream, (clotted cream) the ONLY kind that should ever be served at a tea house & a nice sized menu. Also the ambiance truly is cozy. I wish they were closer to Los Osos, but it is definitely worth the drive... make sure you make a reservation b4 going too!!!

  • Market Tea Room

Before calling Market Tea Room, I had called a variety of tea rooms within 89109 & had a variety of responses. The phone rang out (within regular posted biz hours)…, the next went to voice mail (within reg posted biz hours)…,'we only cater/open for party reservations' & 'we only take reservations 48 hrs ahead of time… sorry' etc!!! Market Tea Room was next on my list & my last hope as I’m a tea house junky (originally from Australia but live in San Luis Obispo, CA… I NEED my tea house/scone fix). It was SO PERFECT… I went there twice!!! The scones were yum, the soup was yum, the sandwiches again yum yum & the tea (I had a caramel one) was EXTREMELY YUM. Highly recommended! Gregory (server) was a doll & should be on Broadway, & Carolyn (owner) is a genius in the kitchen. If you have a big or even little group, do make a reservation so they can getcha ready. I did find their menu online - http://www.menusearch.net/menus/797general.pdf - it does look a wee bit different but it’s a good guide & their prices are very reasonable. You'd probably think Las Vegas would be the last place for a sweet little tea room - you are wrong.

  • The Tea Trolley

I love this place & have visited at least 10 times over the past 3 years or so. Love the teas & scones. The ambiance is warm cozy cottage & sweet. This place is always clean & the loo is so cute & pretty (I've got a thing for nice bathrooms... Madonna Inn bathrooms anyone?) Call before you go to make sure you go on a day the Trolleys actually open as I always get the open/closed days mixed up.
