I've been here a few times and I have always had a wonderful time. The setting is beautiful and the owner makes you feel truly welcome. I believe the other posted had a bad day

Pickwick Society Tearoom Gifts & Antiques
Service was slower then slow. It took forever to get our food. One of the ladies at the table near us actually walked into the kitchen to ask what her holdup was. Food was so so (all you could hear in the dining room I was in was the sound of the microwave 'ding') small portions and over proced. The tea was cold. It also smelled like and tasted like a wet goat. On the plus side the menu and idea/design was cute. And, when we did see our waitstaff person, she was nice. What I can't understand was why it was crowded. My only conclusion was it is the only tearoom in the area and it is in a busy and popular shopping location. I would not go back again and I would not recommend it.
