So it seems this place turned into an online store mostly, but I didn’t realize and went to their location. It seems strange at first, a business area with locked doors? I called and they let me into their tea tasting room. It seems best to call ahead and make an appointment for tea tasting. Anyway, so even though I suddenly popped in without warning, I was treated so well. They let me sample any of the various teas they had and were rather charming about the whole thing. They sell many exotic teas all high quality loose tea. They also seem to host events, which sounds very fun. I’ll be sure to stop there again! PS. Ignore the location at the top, the site has their new address.

Check on line first as there’s certain times of the year this is open and you have to make a reservation. At the end with tip (20% automatically put there regardless number of people.) It comes to $38 per person…and at the end it wasn’t as good as you would think for that much. Tea is taken in the longue where they sit you on the sofas and cover the coffee tables in tablecloths. At first I thought this was nice. It felt like I was having tea at a friend’s home…but since it’s the mail lobby people are constantly walking in and out, which is rather distracted when you’re dressed so well and everyone around you is in jeans… There are more than three teas as it looks like one the site, but those are the three recommended to go with each course. The food is good. There’s nothing wrong with it…though at the end we are said to get “assorted chocolate truffles” and you get ONE truffle that was the size of a small gum ball and peanut butter if anything. A the end nothing was wonderful for a $38 meal I was thinking each bite would send my pallet with delight…no. Everything was dull in taste and nothing made me close my eyes and savor any bite. So for nearly 40$ it was not worth it. The service and tea and good, wonderful even, but I hardly think I will be coming ever again here…too much for generically “good” food.

the tea was bad given to me in a bag in a tea pot with no lid. Service was horrid and the food was lackluster.

The site links to an old page. New page:http://forestwoodmall.com/garden-tea-room/ This seemed like a cute place. All the antiques are very pretty…but alas I was wrong. The tea is “Farmer brothers” bagged and bad! Only about three or four the pick from, and just bad quality bagged tea. Blah! I went there with my husband so I go the chicken salad sandwich and soup while he got a grill chicken salad with strawberries. Mine was okay soup was very bland, chicken salad standard. The chicken in his salad looked good, but was microwaved and had those fake grill marks. He didn’t eat it, but the greens of the salad itself was okay. Over all, positive with atmosphere but they lost me with everything else. I won’t be returning to have tea. The severs were very nice by the way, but the only redeeming factor besides atmosphere.

the staff was very nice and the good was really good...the tea, however, was a different story. It was BAD. My friend and I were given tiny tiny pots that probably had WAY too many tea leaves stuck in. Good food, but they really need to learn how to make a nice cup of tea.

This was an interesting little stop. It has a bit more of a café feel than a traditional tea house. I got the high tea served on a tiered tray which was nice. You come in look at a menu and order from a counter window. They give you a number, you pick out a tea cup and find a seat. The food came quickly and the tea was very good, loose and served in a small cast iron pot. (Which was gone a bit too quickly) With the high tea for two you got three tea sandwiches for each, a strawberry for both, four petit fours, and a big scone to slip. When you were done you left your food there, a waiter never came to see if we were okay, but again it’s more of a dinner feel. Overall it was okay for a tea house, nice for a lunch place.

The was the last tea house in on my tour of Colorado and it was one that offered the most traditional tea service. I tried going for dinner, called for reservations at 3 and was told that I needed to do it before 1 so that they could prepare. No big deal so I made the reservation for lunch the next day. They had about 30 teas to pick from. A lot of them were very unique flavors like crème burlee. For food I was given a scone, and the traditional three stands of sweets, sandwich, and fruit with other things. Everything was very yummy and I left stratified. Every room was decorated differently and the atmosphere was lovely. Even the bathrooms had their own theme!

The tea was perfect. They had a good selection including pu-ehr. The sandwiches were nice. I thought the atmosphere was a little too modern. I wish there were a bit more colors on the wall. It didn’t have the nice homey feel I like so much at tea rooms. I’m very bit on atmosphere and that didn’t sell me here.

This tea house is inside a closed area with many shops around it. You can walk inside and see all kinds of tea pots and cups. Tea is served outside the store. When arriving you get a pot of English tea, and can pick from others, but I didn’t ask to see what they wore. The tea is nice quality. The food was yummy. I had chicken pot pie and though I was totally stuff I wanted to have another because it was so good. I got a scone for dessert and that was nice too.
