The residents of Tillamook County treasure this intimate little tea shop. The ambiance and food transport one in time and place to an elegant, more refined, era and place. I've enjoyed wonderful experiences here with my daughter-in-law and with large groups like the Tillamook branch of the American Association of University Women. I'm always eager to return. The gift shop area is nice, but it seems overloaded with purses, wall art, and jewelry. When what I would much rather see more of are the tea-related items-- packaged loose leaf teas, pots, cups, and tea service accessories. Those items are sparely represented for some odd reason.

Tea's Me
We drive an hour and a half each way to visit this tearoom--from the Oregon coast to Hillsboro. The food is divine. The friendliness and service is extraordinary. I love the variety of loose leaf teas that are available also. A few weeks ago, I arrived to buy tea when they were closed for the day and the owner opened the door and allowed me to come in and purchase four packages of loose leaf tea and two serving accessories. (She was rearranging her display shelves that day.) What a sweetheart!
