Wonderful experience! We really enjoyed our time at Elise's because of the warm and attentive service, the variety of teas, and the variety of sandwiches. It is esp. nice that you can pick what sandwiches you want and that you get 6 of them!! Desserts were filling, but not home made. We will be back!

It does not get any better than this! We have been to more than a few tea houses and Barbara's is the very best. Great service, beautful set up of the food, wonderful ambience, and nice collectible deals to buy. The egg salad sandwich was my favorite, although the scone is a close second. Good variety of teas. This is what a tea house should be about and I encourage other tea house owners to visit and take note!

Okay, we gave it another try. We gave ourselves some time away and went to a number of other tea houses both in the area and in other counties, but still this tea house is a disapointment. It just seems as if this lady can only handle what she did in advance and then once the show starts she cannot deal with anything beyond that. Bland sandwiches, minuscle dessert, store bought items. Visit other tea houses such as Frill's, Elises, and Barbara's in Rancho Cucamonga.

It is so unfortunate that the food was very lacking here because the service and ambiance were terrific. Great gals working here who go all out to make your afternoon a very pleasant one. The house is also delightful. However, the sandwiches had no special touch such as with Frill's in Monrovia or Brabara's Tea House in Rancho Cucamonga. They were plain and ordinary sandwiches. Then you have a dessert that was very small and served with canned peaches. We most likely will not retrun here, despite the outstanding service.
