This is a beautiful house to have tea in. It has the most decadent ice cream and pastries to. Definitely take some friends to get cups of tea and split and incredibly rich dessert. Parking can be tough in the area.

I've been here in the summer. They have fast service and have a good selection of different teas. Overall there isn't much space to sit down, but it's nice to duck away from the incredibly busy street outside.

This is a perfectly fine place to get tea, but it's pretty utilitarian. They have a nice selection of teas. It's also at a useful spot in the center of the city. Good to have a place that's not entirely focused on coffee.

When I came here and ordered scones, the owner made the scones in front of me. I got them when they were perfectly fresh. I don't think there's anywhere else in San Francisco that will do that for a customer.

It was a very nice place to stop in and have a casual cup of tea. And it's a good change, if you want to get away from British or English tea places and try something different. Good selection of teas on hand.

I was here when it had a different name. (I think it's Sip Tea House.) It is a great tea lounge, and you should really go to one of their special Christmas teas. They have games and special holiday desserts.

This is the tea that my parents always go to when they need to get their pu erh tea. They never go to anywhere else and swear it's cheaper because the tea they can get here makes two or three cups. They never have to throw the leaves after just one steeping.

Very luxurious, and the setting is beautiful, but it's a little too formal for me. If you want to pretend you're a fashionable Victorian lady it can be fun, but if you want someplace cozy, you may want to head somewhere else.

  • Samovar Tea Lounge

Great savory tea services. I usually like dessert-like teas and English-inspired tea service. However, if you are tired of that and want something very different from the usual British food, go to Samovar and get something smokey.

By far my favorite tea room anywhere. Tucked away from more accessible shopping spots, it's a little gem. Delicious sandwiches. Great scones. Staff that doesn't make you feel rushed or self-conscious. And fun names for the tea!

  • Crown & Crumpet

It's a very fun colorful place, but it doesn't have the atmosphere I most enjoy in a tea room. It's more like a trendy cafe than a cozy, comfortable, quiet place to have tea and enjoy a couple of scones.

The scones are delicious. The atmosphere couldn't be better. It's in the middle of a rose garden and they offer special rose tea. It's a real treat, and a great place to bring a party. I did enjoy it a little more when it was a buffet. Still, things change!

  • Lovey's tea shoppe

A very nice place to go to relax for an hour. There's no rushing anyone. The food is great. The atmosphere is cozy and the china is a delight. It's a good little out-of-the-way spot. Try the scones with the clotted cream!

Can't rate this highly enough. It's got amazing food, a fun atmosphere, wonderful tea, and a great staff. Even an tea shop across the street. Every time you want to have fun and eat like a queen, head here with your friends.
