My mother-in-law and I have a tradition. Every time we see each other, we visit a new tea room. This was our first visit to Tea on the Tiber and I would recommend this tea room to everyone. The staff was attentive and the selection of food on our tea tray was heavenly. I loved the decorating that was done in the tea room and the overall atmosphere. My mother-in-law suggests cloth napkins and maybe a knife with the table setting instead of a butter spreader, but our overall experience was wonderful.
My husband and I ate here not realizing it would be a tea room. Overall, our experience was fine, but I've been in better tea rooms. I did like the seating arrangement here though. It was very quaint.
I took my mother-in-law to this tea room while she was in town visiting. We had 'Royal Tea' (the highest level available), and we really enjoyed our visit. The room we sat in could have been decorated a little bit better, but each of our courses were superb and well planned out. We were given lots of time in between each course as well which allowed us to really visit with each other. I would recommend this tea room to anyone.
