A friend and I met for Afternoon Tea here on a weekday. It was a relaxing and quiet teatime. The owner, Rosa, is very kind and helpful. The food was fresh and nicely presented with flowers on the serving tray. The tea service was attentive and polite. It would be a lovely place for a group/special occasion.

  • Paris In A Cup

As an admirer of the Art of The French Tea, the opening of this establishment in December was long awaited. My second visit to Paris In A Cup Tea Salon was last Saturday. I was just as wonderfully overwhelmed as the first time! The Tea Salon is floor-to-ceiling stunning. All created from the inspiration of its owner, Cheryl Turner. (Unfortunately, there is not yet a picture on TeaMap.com.) The tables are dressed beautifully. The delicious menu items, which are prepared in their chic, 'neat as a pin' service area, are creative and very well presented. The tea selection offers a wide variety, including must try tea blends imported from France. The professionally attired wait staff provided exceptional service. The delightful boutique that greets you and bids you adieu as you leave the Tea Salon further enhanced the overall tea experience. The boutique is a feast for the eyes as well. Many of the teas served are available for purchase in the boutique market. Do try their imported chocolates for a bite of pure luxury. I, for one, am glad that Cheryl's dream came true, and I will return again with friends to celebrate and enjoy her labor of love that is Paris In A Cup. (Attire tip: Please leave your shorts and blue jeans at home for this special tea experience.)

  • Two A Tea

I have visited Two A Tea four times in the past 16 months. Each time I have brought someone new. Everyone has enjoyed the ambiance, food and friendly staff. The patio is so pleasant in the Spring and Summer months. The owner, Marianne painted the mural on the patio wall, in addition to all of the beautiful interior decor of the tearoom. This tearoom is just what the Old Town Glendora area needed. I am glad Marianne pursued her vision and made it reality for all of us to enjoy. I look forward to my next visit.

  • Barbara's Victorian Teahouse and Boutique

From my first visit several months ago, to my latest visit today, I have felt the warmth of Barbara's gracious hospitality. My guests and I have always been greeted with a friendly smile, a warm welcome, and then escorted to an elegantly set table. The beautiful china settings (many vintage pieces) are a pleasure look at and use. The tea selection is large and still growing because Barbara creates many of her own tea blends. The newly popular White Tea and Rooibus blends are a must try. All of the delicious tea sandwiches, salad, soup, scones, desserts, etc. are made fresh. Their house-specialty quiche is yummy. They make their own Lemon Curd too! The service is polite and attentive which makes for a truly relaxing teatime. It is easy to forget about time when we are there and hard to make ourselves leave! In addition to the wonderfully prepared Afternoon Tea, Barbara has many lovely jewelry and décor items displayed throughout the house that are available for purchase. She has antiques and vintage linens for sale as well. Barbara's Victorian Tea House is decorated beautifully throughout each season of the year and definitely has the ‘Wow!’ factor when you walk through the front door. It is a great location for special occasions. And unlike many tearooms, they are open on Sundays. Ask them about upcoming special events (also listed on their website). Put this on your list of places to visit; I am glad that I did.
