Julian Tea
What a great place to celebrate my birthday. Food was plentiful and beautifully presented. Teas we selected were delicious and the young ladies that served us were very informative and helpful.. I even go a birthday present from them. The shopping was like being turned loose in a candy store. Teapots, teacups, tea, books, spoons, everything tea, everything kitchen and that was just on the first floor. Upstairs was more fun.. Hope I get to return to California again and will plan a trip to Julian Tearoom for sure.

Un-impressed is what I was today. Scone was best part of lunch and liked the egg salad and banana bread with lemon curd. Also, I am not a fan of smelling teas just seemed weird to do that. Did not go away with that full feeling that I expected

The Tea Room at the Depot
Returned after 15 months from last visit with a friend that had never been. Somethings never change, still could not get a refill on tea, never came back to check on us until check time..... My sandwich was special of day and had not flavor at all (roast beef, tomato and cheese - grilled) needed a spread/dressing of some sort. My friend got the Molten Lava Cake and since they serve everything at once on a tiered plate rack, the cake was no longer molten when friend was ready to eat it. Cold fudge filling instead of flowing hot fudge. Not sure a great first impression was made. And sprinkles and mounds of bagged whipped cream does not make it a homemade dessert.

What a fun time we had when we stopped by for October Tea. Enjoyed talking 'tea stuff' with our waitress. Definitely would stop again if our road trip takes us close by...

What a lovely time we had at the tearoom today. Everything was delicious and meeting Barbara was a special treat. Hoping someday you can visit my tearoom in Illinois.

Made it back to enjoy lunch with a bus load of ladies. They all loved it and really enjoyed the shopping. Will be back again.

Had lovely lunch last week while on visit from Illinois. Great atmosphere and service and food was all presented beautifully. Hope to return on my next visit to NC.

The Motley Menagerie Tea Room and Cafe
Very disappointed in our lunch the other day. Chicken salad was good, but not garnish on plate, paper napkins, and not offered dessert. I think they were more involved in getting ready for the evening event than having customers. Also restroom needed some attention to be opened to public. Traveled from Illinois and always try to find tearooms to check out, more of a luncheonette than a tearoom.

Thank you for the feedback. We will take into consideration all that you have offered. I would like to offer my apologies. The staff is myself and one other (not an excuse). Sometimes when we have an event,honestly, we are pulled in many directions. Again, I thank you for your feedback and if you are ever in the area again, I would love to make it right by you.

Taylor and Soapes
Enjoyed our lunch and visit at the tearoom today,and the Apple Dumpling was super yummy. The cute gift shop made for some fun shopping. Because it was a hot day, we opted for iced drinks instead of hot tea- so cannot comment on the preparation or offerings today.
