Tea Rose Garden
I have loved this tea room for years and especially enjoy how it does double duty as a florist shop. I have always had attentive and friendly service and find the decor charming, food tasty and the whole experience a breath of fresh air. I will continue to return as long as they are around - it's just a delightful little place to relax

Rose Tree Cottage
Where would tea in SoCal be without Rose Tree Cottage, the granddaddy of southland tea rooms to the best of my knowledge. I have not visited here as often as I'd like, but when I have, everything has been top-notch from the superb food to the friendly service. And last time I went there was a warm beef savory so outstanding still has me licking my lips. I wish I could remember what the heck it was! Al well, guess I'll just have to go back and find out. As far as I'm concerned, the Rose Tree offers a wonderful tea experience and is well worth the price

Paddington's Tea Room
Was suprised to read so many less than stellar reviews of this well-established and equally well-loved tea spot. I've been going here for years and have always had excellent food and attentive service. I love the cozy decor and the pates and spreads are mouthwatering. I hope those who were disappointed are able to try again wit far better results

Chado Tea Room
These are the tea merchants/exports who basically revolutionized the tea experience and made it ok to have sandwiches with goat cheese and tea cups without flowers. Nothing but kudos for this pillar among tea establishments. Love both their locations and have enjoyed each and every visit to both

The Four Seasons Tea Room
After visiting literally hundreds of tea rooms this one remains one of my all time favorites. The presentation is nothing less than gorgeous and the decor sheer understated elegance. The only thing to surpass the food and ambience is the incredible graciousness and down to earth warmth of Rosa, the owner. I get sincere warm fuzzies every time I talk to her. Her entire staff are equally friendly and respectful and I look forward to every excuse I get to steal away for a few perfect hours at the Four Seasons Tea Room

Tea and Teacups
I used to love this tea room when it first opened way back when and now with the new ownership I've got that lovin' feeling back again. Claudia is kind, unassuming and gracious and makes you feel sincerely welcome. The shop on the other hand is a danger -- way too many beautiful & tempting goodies for purchase :) I look forward to coming here more often... (and I apologize for the emoticon)

Paris In A Cup
Don't know how it's possible that there are no other reviews yet of this picture perfect tea spot. Maybe Paris in a Cup's are too awestruck to comment. This tea salon is gorgeous and tea guests are treated with the utmost care and reverence from the beautiful gift-wrapped chocolate awaiting at each place setting to the attentive and courteous service. Well worth the price of the holiday tea. People may love Paris in the spring, but this place is a place to love year-round

Sussex Teapot
It doesn't get any better or any more British. The owners, Pam and Chris, are as charming as their tea room. Sandwiches are addictive and I've literally never had better scones. To say I am hooked is putting it mildly

Whimsical Teas Tea Room
I don't know the last time I felt so special and welcome. Carol makes you feel like a favorite member of the family and boy oh boy does she have some incredible holiday tea service ware. The 'whimsical' bread is not to be missed. Always a treat

Elise's Tea Room
I have been a patron of Elise's since it first opened in its original location and for good reason. It offers one of the consistently best tea room experiences around. Having visited literally a few hundred tea places, I still look forward to Elise's tasty food, classy uncluttered surroundings and the warm demeanor of both her and her staff. Every change or addition I have witnessed has only added to what is a quality experience; and I am truly grateful to have such an enchanting oasis to frequent
